Can Adaptive Design Reduce the Deficit?

Dear Friends,

It occurred to me last week, while listening to President Obama, that I ought to try and translate the savings I've seen with Adaptive Design in Healthcare into an actual figure. I've done just that to get a dollar amount that compares to the one trillion dollars that Obama says we must eliminate from healthcare spending. While I anticipated that the results would be impressive, I surprised even myself with the total savings.

I invite you to read my latest article in The Huffington Post. Please log in and share your comments and real world information on how you've seen AD get patients what they need a lower cost.

An Obama Healthcare Reform Scorecard

Dear Friends:

Like many of you, I will be watching President Obama this evening and listening very closely as he unveils his plan for healthcare reform. I know that what I want from healthcare is "more care at lower cost". But how do we know if that's what we'll get with President Obama's plan?

In the hopes of making that task a little easier for myself and for you, I've written this latest article for the Huffington Post:
An Obama Healthcare Reform Scorecard

I hope you'll read the article and use the scorecard as in aid to assessing the changes to come. Please, as always, share your comments and ideas. I value your opinions and the community that we are creating, right now, together.

All Best,
John Kenagy, MD
